Lara’s Foundation is an educational charity founded in April 2012 in memory of Lara Jones.

Our goal is to assist in enabling communities to escape chronic poverty and to secure sustainable livelihoods. We are currently supporting small educational projects in Africa and Asia.

Lara taught English to non-native speakers of all backgrounds from around the world. Her Foundation was established so that the dedication and kindness she showed towards her students will continue in spite of her dying at the age of 26.

Lara’s Foundation is a very small charity with no paid staff or admin costs.

100% of donations (plus an extra 25% gift aid) goes to our projects.
